The Boneyard -Las Vegas
The last day we were in Vegas we went to take the tour of the Boneyard or the Neon Museum which is where all old signs go to live out their last days after their usefulness has worn out in Vegas. This place was pretty cool. They had tons of old signs from the strip and from Downtown Vegas. They are trying to restore a bunch of them and get them working again. For now though they give tours so you can view them up close. Dan's Uncle Bill used to be the head of the Art Dept. for the Young Electric Sign Co that designed and built the majority of these signs, so it was a rite of passage for him to walk through and see all these signs.
