A Look Back - Bennett is 2 1/2 on Sept. 15th
Bennett is already two and a half years old. It always surprises me at how fast time moves and how quickly he grows. Just thought I'd take a little stroll down memory lane for me and show a few pictures of him.

Doggie sitting
We are doggie sitting Dan's parent's doggie Mali for 2 weeks. Bennett is in pure heaven. He had her playing dog and mouse last night chasing him for literally one hour as she was after the bacon doggie treat he was carrying around. Mali is at her day spa here when Bennett is giving her doggie massages by running his matchbox cars up and down her back. :o) Mali is probably wondering when this form of toddler torture will end and she will get to go back home where no one tips over her doggie water bowl every day or tries to wear the water bowl as a hat all the time!
Bennett Meets Mud Puddles
Introduction: Bennett meet mud puddles...mud puddles meet Bennett. This is what happens when your child gets about 50 feet ahead of you and he is headed straight for a huge mud puddle! Bennett was loving the mud! He actually had his head in the puddle and was literally rolling around in the mud. Oh to be 2 years old again! The funny part was that after he was done he told me that he was "dirty" and needed to "clean wash" his hands... he needed to clean a whole lot more than just his hands after that! :o)

Bob the Builder...Can We Build It? Yes We Can!
I have had the theme song for Bob the Builder in my head ever since we took Bennett to see the exhibit at the Discovery Science Center last week. Totally cute exhibit and he loved every minute of it. He got ALOT of running in that day from exhibit to exhibit. Soooo much to see and do!

I'm gonna be just like daddy when I grow up!
Something tell's me that Bennett is gonna love computers just as much as daddy when he grows up! I guess I spend my fair share of time on them too. So much to learn and do! Bennett has already caught the bug and loves to play games on the computer and watch videos on YouTube! This is where it starts...maybe he will be the next Bill Gates!
Max is one year old!
Too big? Naw, he'll grow into it!
Ventura County Fair
Must be summer again. We headed off to the Ventura County Fair. I thought Bennett would love the animals and rides, etc. Turns out that he didn't really sit still long enough to take too many pictures, but he spent about 45 minutes at the neatest exhibit. There was a children's exhibit and and older gentlemen brings his complete collection of wooden toys that he has made for the kids to play with. Bennett was just mesmerized, as were the rest of us, and loved playing with all of them. I will definitely go back to see those toys again. Other than that, we saw the usual pigs, goats, chickens, and cows. The funniest thing of the day though was watching this 6 year old and a 4 year old trying to wrangle their little pygmy goat back to it's cage after washing it and carry a big garden hose at the same time. This goat was so little, but it was all that the 2 little kids could do to get it to budge and somehow carry the hose. (I felt bad for giggling about it, but it was pretty funny - I also had to wonder where their parents were?).
