Easter snuck up on us this year because it was so early. We still had a lot of fun celebrating. On Saturday we went to the community Easter Egg Hunt with my mom and my sister Cheryl. Bennett really didn't understand the concept of hunting Easter Eggs. Maybe next year! The Community Easter Egg Hunt was fun, they had big bouncing toys for the kids, a petting zoo, magicians, etc. My brother Craig came out for the weekend again, and we tried to do another egg hunt in our backyard, but Bennett wasn't really interested. Then on Sunday we went over to Dan's parent's house to do a hunt, but Bennett didn't really get it that day either. That's okay - there were more eggs for his cousin Sam that way! Bennett was, however, interested in the eggs that had Hotwheels cars in them. He loves cars! We had a great day at Dan's parents. We had brunch there, and stayed for most of the day. The kids had a blast riding bikes up and down the driveway and in general being boys and getting as dirty as they possibly could!

Lauren really got into the Easter Egg hunt this year. Graham got the concept too, but he had a hard time finding the eggs, so Lauren had to help him. He was scared to death of the Easter bunny--maybe next year. I'm sure a giant bunny with dark eyes looks pretty scary to a little one:)
